Many people say „Munich is the most southern city of Italy“. This claim may exist, because of the charm, the joy of live and the pleasure, wich Munich stands for. Just as same as our Hotel in the south of Munich, with an excellent rail connection to the city center.

Located in a central but also secluded area, our hotel is a place of hospitality, exclusivity and comfort. With 37 rooms and a bright breakfast room our hotel is a popular destination for both leisure or business traveller. A sunny lounge area invites you to stay.

Our hotel is located in a quiet side road at Unterhaching, in the south of Munich. The main attractions, like the pedestrian zone, theaters, operas or the „Neue Messe München“ can easily be reached by using public transportation.

Boutique Hotel "Zur Post" at Vohburg

In the middle of the historic old town of Vohburg, 100m from the Danube lies our Boutique Hotel zur Post, right on the historic castle hill.
Our Boutique Hotel zur Post consists of 4 buildings, including a landmarked old building with two stepped gables and post-Gothic gable decoration from the second half of the 16th century. At the northern corner is a polygonal tower with onion roof. Since 1883, the horse changing station of the post office was housed here.

Gasthaus "Stöttnerbräu" at Vohburg

The history of the Gasthaus Stöttnerbräu is long. From the former "Dismasbräu" of the Sonner family (1787), the manager Max Stöttner to Anton Maier from 1925, who brewed here until the end of the 1960s.

Kai and Maria Magdalena Michaelsen and their team welcome you to the newly renovated Stöttnerbräu at Vohburg.

„Victuals“ is the latin word for food. Within a period of 200 years the Viktualienmarkt developed from a traditional famer’s market to a popular shopping destination for gourmets in Munich’s Old City. It take’s daily place, except on Sundays and Holidays, and consists mostly of permanent market stands.

The Marienplatz has been considered the central square of Munich since the city was founded by Henry the Lion in 1158. Theatinerstraße

The Theatinerstraße connects the Odeonplatz with the Weinstraße at the Marienplatz and is considered as one of Munich’s most elegant and luxury shopping streets. A part from an excellent range of shops you will find there the luxury shopping centre called „Fünf Höfe“. The emblem of the street is the Baroque Theatrinerkirche.


Leopoldstraße

The Leopoldsstraße is the continuation of the Ludwigsstraße, the boulevard of King Ludwig I, north of the Siegestor. This street contains the Siegestor, the academy of arts, the Münchner Freiheit and the large scale-sculpture „Walking Man“ by Jonathan Borofsky. For various events like the Munich Marathon or street festivals (for example the street live festival during summer) parts or even the whole street gets closed.

Built in 1327, the building reopened, after the great town fire, as a museum in 2005.
Competent staff offers guided tours through the museum, where you are not only going to learn something about beer, but also about the historical origin of the Oktoberfest, as a national holiday to the wedding of King Ludwig I.
